South Surrey Interceptor Twinning

Project: South Surrey Interceptor Twinning, Trites Road Section - Phase 1
Duration: September, 2010 to February, 2011
Owner: Greater Vancouver Sewerage & Drainage District

The contract is for the installation of a new 3050mm diameter interceptor, comprising of the following major components:

• Installation of approximately 1205 metres of 3048mm diameter grade supported PVC lined reinforced concrete pipe;
• Supply and installation of approximately 325 metres of 200mm and approximately 17 metres of 250mm diameter PVC SDR 35 pipe;
• Re-profiling of existing streams, and
• Construction of permanent access roads including culverts and restoration of the site.
